ABOUT ME
I have been practising yoga for over ten years and completed my 200 hour yoga teacher qualification in 2024 with Tribe Yoga School at the Ministry of Yoga in Crewe. I have since completed additional training qualifying me to guide Yin yoga and Shake the Dust sessions.

I initially went to yoga classes mainly to stretch and strengthen my muscles as I did a lot of running and walking but as time went on I came to realise the benefits yoga was bringing to my mental health as well as the physical side.

As I have deepened my practice and learnt more about the traditional yogic philosophies, I have found that the beautiful flow of movement aligned with the breath has enabled me to access a lovely meditative state that is genuinely relaxing and healing. Hence the name Path to Stillness - for me the practice of yoga, whether it be breath work, movement, yin, nidra or meditation, enables me to find stillness both in the mind and body.

I love sharing the benefits of yoga to enable others to feel that same stillness of the mind and release of tension from the body that I have experienced through my practice.

CLIENT FEEDBACK
"Lucy loves practicing Yoga and this enthusiasm radiates in her classes. I have never done Yoga before and I was very nervous, but Lucy made everyone in her class feel very comfortable from day one. I have various health conditions, affecting my joints and muscles and sometimes this can make class participation difficult. However, Lucy is very knowledgeable and would make suggestions in class to help individuals on their own personal journey, whether it be due to physical limitations or less experience. There was always an alternative practice, maybe using a chair or the wall. The class was very inclusive, whatever your level, ability or age. I would definitely recommend Lucy's classes to anyone who wants to take up Yoga for the first time. Just go for it"
